Through unprecedented deregulation of the CA housing market, the possibility of building an ADU has become a reality for almost all California homeowners. However, the daunting task of taking on an ADU construction project was often a non-starter. Homeowners had to navigate the complicated world of general contractors, building and planning department permits, utilities, design work, etc. This is where Habitat comes in.
